Project: New Hope Unlimited

I believe patients should be able to choose how they approach their healthcare and have access to the resources that make those choices possible. That’s why I work with patient-focused healthcare organizations that prioritize expanding access, improving outcomes, and helping people take a more active role in their care.

Here’s how I've helped New Hope Unlimited create greater clarity and consistency in how they present their work in biological immunotherapy.

A brand identity designed for a more approachable patient experience

The New Hope Unlimited logo uses a color palette that feels familiar within healthcare, but more balanced than most. Blue carries a sense of trust and professionalism, while teal softens that tone and adds a level of approachability. Green introduces a subtle reference to healing and biological function, aligning with the center’s focus. The circular mark supports this visually, suggesting continuity and systems working together, with a quiet nod to cellular structure.

The typography follows the same approach. It’s clean and easy to read, with enough weight to feel established without becoming heavy or overly clinical. Paired with the tagline, the identity leans toward straightforward communication over persuasion, presenting the organization in a way that feels steady and composed.

A supplemental website built for patients and families

I developed a supplemental website designed to give patients and families a clearer understanding of what the New Hope Unlimited treatment program actually involves. The site introduces the organization’s mission, explains the therapies offered in more detail, and walks through the admission process step by step so patients know what to expect.

It also provides practical resources to support planning and decision-making. Patients can explore financial resources, review travel information, and securely submit medical records for review. The goal was to create a straightforward, informative experience that answers common questions and helps patients and families feel more prepared as they consider their next steps.

Patient materials designed to inform and guide

The program summary and welcome package were developed to give patients a clearer picture of what to expect before they begin treatment. These materials expand on the information found online, presenting it in a format that’s easier to review, share with family, and revisit over time. For many patients, this is one of the first deeper looks at the program, so the content is structured to answer common questions and reduce uncertainty early in the process.

The materials follow a straightforward, step-by-step flow, moving from a high-level overview into more practical details around travel, preparation, and next steps. The layout supports that progression, using clear hierarchy, simple formatting, and imagery that reflects real patient interactions rather than abstract concepts.

Just as important, the design stays consistent with the brand and website. The same color palette, typography, and visual style carry through across each piece, so nothing feels disconnected. Whether a patient is reading through the website or reviewing printed materials, the experience remains steady and familiar, which helps reinforce understanding and makes the overall process easier to navigate.

The Administrative Side of Medicine

As New Hope Unlimited has grown, so has its technology needs. I've overseen the custom development and implementation of various productivity tools that have allowed the New Hope staff to provide a gold standard of care to their patients worldwide. Some of these include Zoho One, a full management suite providing a robust CRM, social media tools, website integration, and more; RingCentral, a powerful VoIP that helps you respond to every call quickly and effectively; Microsoft Office Suite; and Google Workspace.

The Administrative Side of Medicine

Even though New Hope is technically a "business," they've always been well known as one of the most compassionate and dedicated medical providers in the world. We've helped them achieve this by assisting with staff training that focuses on "people first" practices. In other words, if it is possible to find a way to help a patient or family member we're going to make it happen.

One of our greatest achievements with New Hope's "people first" approach is the successful implementation of a flexible payment program for patient's that cannot immediately afford treatment. Since these treatments aren't normally covered by health insurance, many patients struggle to pay up front for services. Cancer treatment is an urgent need and patients don't have time to wait for savings to build up. I developed a plan to offer patients flexible payment options with low interest rates - just over half the APR of a personal loan and less than a third of what can be charged by many medical lenders.
